Life in Remote Indonesia

A personal collection of photographs made during the time Noemi spends in local communities while working on other projects across Indonesia.

For her, some of the most meaningful parts of these projects happen in the quieter moments. Sitting down with people, listening to their stories, sharing a meal, or simply spending time together. These moments give her the chance to build a connection beyond the work itself and to learn about different ways of life, cultures and experiences.

The photographs are a personal record of these encounters and the people she has had the privilege of meeting along the way. They are often the moments she remembers most from a place, long after a project has finished.
